


A Bookkeeper is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and supporting day-to-day accounting operations. This role focuses on transaction recording, account reconciliation, and financial documentation to ensure books are up to date and compliant. Bookkeepers play a critical role in providing reliable financial data to support reporting, decision-making, and overall business health.
• Record and categorize financial transactions accurately.
• Reconcile bank, credit card, and payment processor accounts.
• Maintain general ledger and financial records.
• Process invoices, bills, and expense reports.
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks.
• Prepare financial summaries and basic reports.
• Ensure documentation is complete and properly organized.
• Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting support roles.
• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Organized and capable of managing recurring deadlines.
• Comfortable working with financial data and systems.
• Reliable, discreet, and able to work independently.
• Accounting software: QuickBooks, Xero, FreshBooks
• Payments & reconciliation: Stripe, PayPal, Wise
• Spreadsheets & reporting: Google Sheets, Excel
• Documentation & file management: Notion, Google Drive
• Accuracy and completeness of financial records
